It was a normal day on the lives of the Noel family, it was Wednesday, I had to be at work at six, there was no school because of a teacher-in-service day, so I went home right after work.

Before we all headed out to church for Adventurer Club, my stomach was feeling sick, I could not keep foods down and by the end of the night, I had a headache.

October was full of events for the Noel family.  All good things.  Spending time with the family.  Starting a new job.  Getting used to new routines.  Adventurer club camp-out.  Pathfinders camping trips.  Halloween trip to Great Wolf Lodge.

Wow! October already! Time has gone by so fast I think I am in denial!  I want to share so much with you but I would need to divide this post into three or four!

Every year our church organizes a weekend long retreat.  I think that ninety percent of the church attends this event.  It really is a wonderful experience for everyone.

Almost a year ago the Kirkland Seventh-Day Adventist Church started our very own Adventurer Club.

This club was led by a group of wonderful people, men and women came together to lead a group of children in this fun and exciting club.

If April showers bring May flowers... what do thunderstorms bring?  

When I first visited the Seattle area to meet Wes' family the thing that made me fall in love with it was all the trees, the flowers, its mountains, its environment.  It's been almost four years and I just have not gotten used to the rain.

As we are anxiously waiting for the rain to go away and the sun to shine, we couldn't wait any longer for spring to arrive and started our normal walks -something that we haven't done in a while because of my recent surgery.
