Waiting for spring

As we are anxiously waiting for the rain to go away and the sun to shine, we couldn't wait any longer for spring to arrive and started our normal walks -something that we haven't done in a while because of my recent surgery.

It was nice to look at all those beautiful cherry blossom trees changing to their spring colors, the flowers blooming, and the daffodils brightening the green grass.  We love going to the "Target" park, which is really called Wilmot Gateway Park, but because it is so close to Target the kids call it the "Target" park since they were younger and it just never got old.

Now, I am from Ecuador, where it is always warm and sunny, I was not made for this weather, I am missing my beautiful Guayaquil more than ever, and the rest of the family, well, let's just say that we would all like to move to California!

The kids really like spending time outdoors, they walk without complaining, they race each other, and at the end we play in the park with them, only that this time I was too cold to play or move so I was just sitting on the bench.
