Sunset Lake Adventurer Camp-out

October was full of events for the Noel family.  All good things.  Spending time with the family.  Starting a new job.  Getting used to new routines.  Adventurer club camp-out.  Pathfinders camping trips.  Halloween trip to Great Wolf Lodge.

I could go on and on about the many fun things we did during those events and trips, but I'd like to highlight the Adventurer camp-out at Sunset Lake Camp, a trip made possible by our good friends.

The Washington Conference puts this camp-out together every year and it actually was our first year attending.  It was absolutely amazing.  We worked on two awards: The Pioneer Award and The Geology Award. Both awards were great fun!

A couple of weeks before the Adventurer Camp-out, the kids and I were reading about Little Ellen G. White and what a perfect timing... we learned more about the Seven Day Adventist Pioneers.  It truly was a blessing.

The camp-out was full of activities, from making your own granola, going on a scavenger hunt hike, horseback riding, flashlight hike, killing spiders (yep, you read right, and funny thing is that they only seemed to appear on Nano's bed), talking to friends, it was in a few words... AWESOME!

The Kernels Adventurer Club is a great place not just for kids, but for all members of a family.

Check out the cool pictures from our camp-out.
