A Christmas card with hot cocoa

Before I got sick, I had planned on making a little something for the kids' teachers.  My friend Teke is very artistic, she made a couple of very cute Christmas cards that held inside an envelop of hot cocoa with a chocolate covered straw, they were absolutely beautiful!

I am not nearly as crafty as she is, but I thought to give it a shot.

I made the card very simple.  I used blue heavy cardstock, two different types of patterned paper, a "Merry Christmas" stamp, and red ribbon and to hold the hot cocoa, I used white glue dots.

I am really looking forward to celebrating Jesus' birthday.  I wanted to show my appreciation to the kids teachers by  giving them something handmade.
