Cards, cards, and more cards

Ok, so I have not been too good at posting, I know, and I am very sorry for neglecting my site, but, looking for a job is a full time job.  Here I am, nonetheless, with some handmade cards I've been working on.

Birthday card:

I enjoyed using the different patterned papers, the buttons, and my new "happy birthday" stamp.

I used heavy cardstock as the base and layered a light weighted patterned paper, then using a punch I layered six pieces of different patterned paper.  I used a self adhesive ribbon.  Before adhering the buttons I used a grey thread to "saw" them on.

Halloween card:

I had fun doing this one because it was simple and I was just playing with green, black, and orange heavy cardstock.

I used twine around the black cardstock and adhered the googly eyes to give it the "ghost/monster" look.  Simple but I liked it.

Fall card:

I was definitely not ready for fall, but, gotta admit that I love a good ol' pumpkin pie...

I used a fall color heavy cardstock as the base of the card, then using an old bookkeeping paper, I set that as a background and layered it on top.  I added two leaves (from a Martha Stewart punch) on top of the bookkeeping paper and added two more leaves with glue dots to give it a dimensional look.  I used a brown piece of ribbon and then added the felt "Fall" sentiment.

I hope you enjoy and remember to leave a comment here or "like" my facebook page.

Happy Fall!
