A couple of weeks ago grandpa came to visit us.  The last time we saw him was a few years ago and it was nice for the kids and me to spend time with him.

We didn't do much but we tried to spend as much time with him as possible.  We went on a ferry ride.  We dined out.  It was nice.  The kids are really missing him now.

I clearly remember when the doctor told me the news.  I still can't explain what I felt that day.  I was going to be a mom and so many things were going through my head.

Before I got sick, I had planned on making a little something for the kids' teachers.  My friend Teke is very artistic, she made a couple of very cute Christmas cards that held inside an envelop of hot cocoa with a chocolate covered straw, they were absolutely beautiful!

I am not nearly as crafty as she is, but I thought to give it a shot.

It was a normal day on the lives of the Noel family, it was Wednesday, I had to be at work at six, there was no school because of a teacher-in-service day, so I went home right after work.

Before we all headed out to church for Adventurer Club, my stomach was feeling sick, I could not keep foods down and by the end of the night, I had a headache.

October was full of events for the Noel family.  All good things.  Spending time with the family.  Starting a new job.  Getting used to new routines.  Adventurer club camp-out.  Pathfinders camping trips.  Halloween trip to Great Wolf Lodge.

Just to think that this Wednesday I will start a new job, makes my stomach feel all funny.  Well, with a new job comes a lot of changes and of course, after a few months of being unemployed, there is going to be an adjustment period not just for me but also for the hubby as well as the kids.  We are all excited about this change.
